I’m Maxwell Fine, a London-based Set Decorator and Designer working across television, commercials and branded projects. My experience spans HETV, comedy, factual and light entertainment, with recent credits including Cunk, Ludwig and Pierre.

My job can involve almost anything visual. One week I’m rummaging through a favourite antiques market for exactly the right furniture, the next I’m dressing sets for Netflix or styling a fabulous launch event. From sourcing forty matching lamps to adjusting one tiny detail, I’ve been finding creative solutions to production challenges for nearly fifteen years.

I love layered, characterful spaces, full of carefully chosen objects, colours, textures and peculiar little details. A colossal team effort goes into getting a shoot off the ground, and I care about making every part of the set feel right. So you can bet if that rug isn’t sitting properly, I’ll know about it!

I’m a big believer in creative collaboration, bringing abundant ideas, good humour and plenty of energy. I’m naturally curious, enjoy a creative challenge and love working with others to find inventive, practical ways to make ambitious things happen. There’s real pleasure in seeing an idea take shape, especially when everyone brings something unexpected to it.
